MORE DETAILS!!! :-)

Hi everyone!

Here's a bit more detail around the July 3rd activites....we're planning on doing the river float on the Yellowstone River somewhere between Pray, MT and Livingston, MT. The length and duration of the float will depend on how fast the river is running, so the final start and end points will be determined a bit further down the road. We will provide all rafts, food, etc - we just need to know if you're planning on coming so we can make sure we reserve the right amount of floating devices and raid Costco for enough grub! :-)

Likely we'll start the float around 12:30 or 1:00, and then plan on doing a BBQ at the end point of the float that will kick off some time after 4pm. We'll make sure to provide a shuttle service to the start of the float location (have everyone meet at the end point), and can also help with carpooling and transportation if needed.

If floating isn't your style but eating is - no worries! You can simply join us at the BBQ location and celebrate with us there.

The float and BBQ on Friday, July 3rd is the only formal event/activity we have planned so that those who have plans for other 4th of July related activities can attend them.

You can also subscribe to this blog, and will receive automatic notification when updates are posted!

4th of July is pretty eventful around here - likely you can catch parades and/or rodeos in the local area. If you're interested in attending the Livingston Rodeo, click here: http://www.livingston-chamber.com/rodeo.html. Reserved seating is sold out for the 4th but there is still availablity for general seating that day, and then reserved or general on July 2nd. you can purchase them right online! From what I understand they go quickly so you may want to purchase soon. The parade is on July 2nd at 3pm if you want to catch that!

For those looking for additional activities in the Bozeman/Livingston area - there's so much to do! If you're interested in hitting some real white water, let us know - the Yellowstone is a slow moving float, the only white water happens when someone jumps in. We love whitewater - so if you'd like Thad to take you down some, just let us know. If we have enough folks interested I am sure we can pull together some impromptu whitewater action - or can help arrage a trip for you with a local company.

If you might be interested in trying some fishing out in the area - we can help with that too! It's part of the joy of being a raft owner. :-)
